There is huge excitement in London ahead of Chelsea's second leg clash with Liverpool at Stamford tonight in the Champions League according to former Blues man Richard Gomes. The west London club has the upper hand going in tie after a 3-1 victory at Anfield last week.
Liverpool will be hoping they can repeat their heroics in the 2005 cup final against AC Milan. When they managed to come
Gomes says the home and away fans are all optimistic.
"There's a buzz, there's a ! vibe and a wonderful atmosphere. Liverpool supporters are very up beat they have started arriving in London. Chelsea supporters think we are going to coast through to the next round but I certainly don't think so."
Gomes then added Guus Hiddink's men must not write off Liverpool.
"I think if Chelsea sits back they will be making a very big mistake. Fernando Torres has come out and said he is the man who will inspire Liverpool this evening. Captain Steven Gerrard has passed a fitness test, so the on the visitors side its all systems go."
