The Lakers beat the Celtics and ended their 19 game winning streak!
Kobe Bryant led them with 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists, and Pau Gasol added 20.
It was a big game for the Lakers, because they played Boston in the 2008 NBA Finals. But, it was also another big Laker game, it gave coach Phil Jackson his 1000th career win. He was the sixth coach to hit that mark. He did it the fastest, winning it in 17 seasons coaching Chicago and L.A.
Also, the Spurs beat the Suns by one from a three off Roger Mason. Tony Parker ha! d the ball and found Mason in the corner, who made the game-winning three.
Aside from the NBA, it was Christmas today! Christmas! Wooo!
I had a pretty good Christmas. I got some PSP & DS stuff and then I got like 20 boxes of Mike and Ikes. Or four. Close enough. 2 from Josh and 2 from Mom. Good deal. And then I also got a 20 Q Sports thing from Josh, too. It's pretty smart, but it can't guess very well sometimes. Oh well it is a great present. I'm glad I had a great Christmas. And I hope the people reading this did too.
